Laughing with Ghosts
written after my Aunt Phyllis' funeral- Silly me, I thought she was the last.

You laughed again
As you always did-
The same gutsy lady
I knew as a kid.
Your features etched in familiar faces,
Words and songs leaving
Indelible traces
Of a life lived long
And a life lived well-
Legacy of laughter
And love yet to tell.
