** #843434 Not An Image **
I keep my camera handy
for moments such as these,
when the squirrel has found
his way out of the trees.

A silent lass he spied
and made a daring leap
to make a bold appearance
but landed in a heap!

No way would he impress
the silent lass and so,
he lay there looking at her;
her eyes were shining so!

The bunny didn't notice
his heart beat or his moan;
Why, the way she acted,
she could be made of stone!

Sure that his heart was broken
(and perhaps a couple other things),
It would take time to get over
the thought of tiny wedding rings!

It seems the silent treatment took
its toll on that poor squirrel,
and it will be a day or two
before he gives love another whirl.
