The Window
Very simplistic poem, about keeping hope.

Wide eyed
and bushy tailed
I wonder where
I am.

I walked into
the traps of life
and all the doors
went slam!

The room
is empty
and yet I
see the light.

A window
left open,
I slip into
the night.

There are always
new chances,
new paths,
a new choice.

So wide eyed
and bushy tailed
I sing a song
and raise my voice.
