NIGHT OUT Our anniversary called for a night out on the town; we dressed in our best, for the sights and the sound Of people and music enjoying the night, The wine was blood red Filling us with delight. My heart filled with ecstacy; as his arms held me tight; 'Twas an evening of bliss, and seemed so very right. We danced and we laughed just as all young lovers do; No matter he was seventy and I was just sixty-two. ![]() Countrymom 5/12/04
