![]() Dragonfly Pond Hum of bees and dragonflies, White clouds in the sunny skies, Waterlillies now unfold, Koi carp swimming, flash of gold. Lazy days, leave care awhile, Lie upon the bank and smile, Frog and newt, and minnow small, Woodbine climbing by the wall. Picnics, pop, and apple-pie, Sit and watch the world go by, Maybe, catch a fish or two, Pick some daisies, thread a few. Do you like butter? With a grin Hold a flower 'neath your chin. Summer joys, and August heat, Make our childhood days so sweet.
