GONE

Gone are days when you and I,
Amidst roses, hand in hand,
Walked in silence, with our hearts
Beating to the tunes of love.

Gone are nights when you and I,
Rain drops tapping on the roof,
Freezing winds blowing outside,
Felt comfort in warmth of love.

Gone are moments when you and
I had each other in thought,
Contemplating, dreaming, how
To show our depth of love.

Now no more those days or tunes,
Now no more those nights or warmth,
Now no more dreaming moments
Of that pure sweetness of love.

You are gone, and, with you, love.
My days, my nights, my moments,
My thoughts, my feelings, tears,
Are now its only remnants.
