Death of a Loved One
You are not yet gone...

Your loving soul lay suspended in my mind,
For all eternity, it will rest.
I will miss your cuddly nature and demanding whims.
Your death weighs heavily on my conscious.

Your gentle, yet insistant, yell will fall on deff ears,
For I cannot hear the cry from those beyond.
Your body will be buried with the tenderness and care
That only a true loved one could provide.

My hope is that you reach your destination
Safely and unharmed,
And remain happy throughout the end of time.
