Walk with me through the swirling mists of Oban
Down to the shore in God’s own land Stand with me, on the West coast, Where the Shannon meets the sea & the breakers roll for a thousand miles. Sail with me on a tall ship, across the Baltic From Helsinki harbour to Tallin. Watch with me, the sun go down Over the copper roofs of Prague & the walls of Dubrovnik Feel with me, the warm sand of centuries Beneath our feet on a deserted Cretan beach. Shed a tear with me, at the rows of white Under the scudding clouds of Flanders fields, Dream with me, breathe a Tuscan sky Of all these things, of you and I.
