Little red kite A little red kite I was, drifting along Til there was you to make me strong Whole, complete and loved I was When finally, along came you. Little red kite, soaring into the blue A single sock, a worn-out old shoe That’s how lost I am Now that I don’t have you. Little red kite, dancing in the wind A nightingale, wanting to sing Of the love I found After I lost you.
