A pale blue tower stands
In my city of light.
I am reminded of you,
Of your strength.
My city is deserted now,
Uninhabitable.
Nothing living
Remains.
Buildings decayed,
Succumbed to time.
But one remains--
This pale blue tower that
Reminds me of you.
