Scales of Silver Timeline

The combination to the door is figured out, and the door opens.

The characters enter the cavern on the other side, only to find out that the dragons have gotten out, through a burrowed tunnel.

Going through the tunnel, the characters meet up with the dragons, and find out their side of the story. The characters promise to destroy the spirit of Thelran.

The dragons help the characters get out of the cavern (they move the fallen boulders and clear the tunnel.

As the characters are traveling through the corridor, the floor begins to crack, and they almost fall into the chasm. Instead, they climb down into it.

At the bottom, they found the dead body of Normagus with a note on it reading: 'Forgive me, brother. It was better this way.'

The two goblins appear and lead the characters to the center of the mountain, where Thelran awaits them. Martell is here, led by the dragons after escaping from the Arena.

Sartrem runs at the spirit of Thelran, but falls into a pool of lava and dies horribly.

Thelran resurrects the body and the spirit takes it over. The characters watch as the form of Sartrem mutates into that of Thelran.

A combat ensues between the party and Thelran. Thelran dies (again) and his spirit is angered, causing the mountain to tremble violently.

The silver dragons enter and start to fly the party out of the mountain. Martell jumps from the dragon's back to destroy the source of Thelran's power (the altar, which was rebuilt.)

Martell is trapped within the mountain as it crumbles over him.

The party is taken to the Whispering Wood, where the dragons depart for a new home.
