Butterflies and Angels
Butterflies flap their wispy wings And flit along in the breeze Guardian angels are supposed to sing While we pray from our knees Angels are whispers from gentle souls Guiding us when we stray Butterflies dance in graceful roles Of chaperones as we play Both fly naturally in heavenly skies We ourselves can barely tame Who knows if angels and butterflies Are really one and the same
