You’re Afraid;
But don’t worry because I am, too. The road you must walk is hard, But I’ll be there to help you. I know, Because I was there, too. You think no one cares, But there are those who do. Your pent up tears and shuddered screams Are not the only ones. I know, Because I was there, too. You think people will hurt you, But most really won’t. You lock yourself away, Afraid to come out. I know, Because I was there, too. You hide in your mind, And struggle to keep up. You always say the wrong thing, And hurt as a result. I know, Because I was there, too. You hurt other people, With no idea why. You struggle to make things right, But you don’t know how. I know, Because I was there, too. I was there before you, Every step down that road. But I’ll walk down it with you, And I’ll guide you along. I know, Because I was there, too.
