Faith vs. Fear

Close your eyes and take a step
Know there is a hand to guide you
Faith is knowing that you are safely kept,
where there is no fear that will cut and bind you

See things that aren't as if they are
Believe you will find your dream
May your faith in God shine brighter than any star,
to build and strengthen others' self-esteem

Lift the bar you are walking on
Fear not, believe not, that you will drop
Your doubts will scatter your steps there upon,
and you will fall where you fear, then stop

Find your foundation and waiver not
Know that you have a purpose to fulfill
God's Word provides the ground for your steps,
that your naked eyes never will

Know that fear is not supreme
It is only false evidence appearing real
Faith is much simpler than it may seem,
for finding answers in the heart will heal.
