2004 SLAM ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Life Scars They are there though you cannot see them. Some have sprouted hair as if to hide themselves from consciousness. Others are crusted over like faded, dried putty. They're as numerous as age spots on vein-lined hands and as scattered as the dust of erstwhile winds. Each is a portrait of a moment when someone said or did or pushed or laughed or jeered. Such scars last forever. They hurt even now. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
