Wispy
The first poem I ever wrote.

I am wispy
in a place
where tears glitter crystal
and rooms fracture
into pieces of a broken mirror
I sleepwalk through deserted streets
my limbs bleed
and fireflies waltz
they burn me
like pin pricks or glass shards
In the streets
where images fade like ghosts
Shimmering and twisted
I am haunted
and bleeding
Eyelids are heavy
when wisps of nightmares cling to lashes
I try to lose myself
in a song that no one sings
Fractured and wispy
in a place
that's deserted.
