Bond of Union by M. C. Escher You can see that picture at: http://www.globalgallery.com/enlarge/015-20795/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rings hold us together, and time with its memories. I know you see through me, around me, out of me, but you sometimes miss what builds me, the me inside. I see into you, in bits and pieces, but your eyes look away, probing the world in solo. True, our lips bring us close, but sometimes I miss, and our thoughts disconnect. We are joined in this space, separate molecules that drift, yet we take our meanings and fasten us together. But sometimes we miss, and when we do, we float apart. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
