Spring
The beginning of spring

The sun shines proud
On the first day of spring
The birds sing out loud
Of what the sun will bring

Beautiful,radiant, flowers
Oh tulips galore!
The weeds grow small and glower
As beauty reigns once more

Afternoon has come
With a sigh of a breeze
Sent to hum a story
Of a past winter freeze

As evening draws near
The crickets start to sing
A song you only hear
At the beginning of spring
