Bermuda Triangle
Rated: E | Poetry | Romance/Love | #872731
I reach out in darkness and confusion to find the one I love.
My world awash in darkness,
I venture forth into the storm–
Reject the warnings, the wisdom,
the urge to run for shelter:

I know I'm not alone.

Though you are torn from me,
Somehow, some way, I swear:
Part of me shall walk beside you;
I will not be lost to you.

In time, our stars will lead
Beyond the shadow gargoyles
That trick and trap our hearts,
To that mythic place
Where terrors softly melt
In light of loving eyes.

Home at last, arrived:
The ship within its harbor,
The sword within its sheath,
The lover's heart in easy reach.
