Walking into the Storm
I know He'll grab my hand, but I'm still afraid

Walking into the Storm

Walls of water
Barrier of fear,
Crashing against reality-
Slippery slope sliding
Over dark depths,
Knives of rain slashing away hope,
This fragile hull no haven
Against the crushing waves.

Not a comfortable hope,
This frightening call
To step into the storm
And trust in just
The Ghost of faith.
