Can someone held so dear
Ever revert to just a friend? Can a flame that burns so fierce Ever dwindle enough to touch? Can we ever contemplate life and loves Without referring to loves of lives? Will the heart ever not lift With the merest glimpse of a face? Can the pictures stay locked away Unviewed? Will the wistful smile Truly ever leave?
