Across the Room
across a crowded room...

And I watched you from across the room,
With your forlorn eyes full of gloom.
All I wanted was to kiss your lips
And throw my arms around your hips.

Together we wouldn't feel alone,
But how could you have known?
I was too frightened to speak.
When I am near you, I get weak.

Your voice makes my heart flutter,
As the only sounds I make stutter.
And as I watched you leave the room,
You saw my forlorn eyes full of gloom.
