And I watched you from across the room,
With your forlorn eyes full of gloom. All I wanted was to kiss your lips And throw my arms around your hips. Together we wouldn't feel alone, But how could you have known? I was too frightened to speak. When I am near you, I get weak. Your voice makes my heart flutter, As the only sounds I make stutter. And as I watched you leave the room, You saw my forlorn eyes full of gloom.
