The Fight in the Dog
The rich get richer, the poor get poorer. Right? Wrong! Are you a pitbull or a poodle?

It's a dog-eat-dog world, no, that's not right
I tell you that that's false logic
It's not the size of the dog, it's the fight

Some people are poodles, who want comfort, style
They fail to do the work required
They end up chasing another's bone all the while

Complaining that things will never go their way
They don't see the prize before them
Their mouth open and begging is where they'll stay

Some people are pitbulls, who fight and scrape
Their bite is strong and stubborn
They end up with wealth, the rat race they escape

Charging ahead against insurmountable feats
Others see their dreams through them
Their teeth sunk deep into the choicest of meats

Do you think things should easily come to you?
What have you given in return?
Go after the prize, sink teeth in, you're due

Hurting people won't get you anywhere fast
A job has little security
You need to own something that will last

No need to bite anyone on the way to the top
Raise your head above the crowd!
Make money while you eat, spend, and shop!

Find a store that will allow you to own it
A mutual benefit you will create
Money for you, money for them, it will fit

Don't hire anyone, but give others a chance
Sell them on themselves
They can own it too, there's room for advance
