"Destiny Unfolds"

In a world of only minds and essences of souls,
you've come to me through miles and time, and destiny unfolds...
parting curtains once drawn tight to shield a heart from pain,
freeing from eternal night my soul to live again.

From the hand of God above, your radiant spirit sent
for me to treasure, hold and love until out lives are spent ~
and even then continue on, safe in our embrace,
beyond when earthly time is gone and we have seen God's face.

For you indeed were Heaven sent, and I have known the joy
of time by wondrous angels spent, our Lord's will to employ,
rendering the stars aligned and clearing well the path
leading us to hearts entwined, the mysteries unmasked;

preparing me for love untold and showing me the way,
my shattered soul made strong and bold this dawning, precious day;
bestowing you with greater heart than many men possess ~
enough to show me from the start that you're my happiness.

You reached into my very core and touched me deep inside;
stood with me against the horror; vanquished need to hide.
Your spirit lingers ever near, buoying with such love;
burning passion quells the fear; hate slain by the dove.

Though there is much more we will know, between us much is known;
to you alone my heart I'll show, for I am coming home
to be forever in your arms if you will have me there
together safe from hate and harm, our boundless love to share.
