It Can Happen to You
By Quizmo LaGrande ![]() It can happen to you, So watch what you do! Don’t fritter or poke Or do something that won’t Allow you to grow Up big and up strong (Your parents will wonder What the heck they did wrong?) To a nice healthy size, So supple and wise, You can swim ‘cross a river, And claim the first prize! You can be someone, The truth will be shown; You can think up great thoughts And discover unknowns! Or else you can sit there Grinning and bald Just sitting, not knowing, Nope, nothing at all. Just thinking you’re cool “Hey, look at me! I’m stoned, and I’m high It’s the best way to be!” But smoking and drinking Will just cause you to drool. Smoking and drinking Will make you a fool! “Won’t happen to me!” You babies all groan. “We’ll grow just the same,” You collectively moan. But watch it, my friends, If you smoke and drink wine You’ll block out the sun And leave kid-hood behind Not growing up healthy And wealthy and wise You’ll live in a shadow Much to your demise. Soooo... Wait till your big ‘Fore you drink and you smoke. After you’ve grown Do drugs and snort coke. Turn to stone then When you're large and you're old And gained all your wisdom And earned all your gold; When your tummy’s much bigger Due to all your hard play Of lugging and chugging And feasting and… hey, Your belly could be A perfect display-- Perhaps even modeled In marble someday! Then the world will acknowledge, Bow and tow-tow, To a “big” bellied baby; So don’t do it now! For "Invalid Item"
