What Would You Do.
A Religious question asking what God would do or say if He saw this dispicable place.

What would God do if He saw the world today?
What would He say?
If He witnessed all the corruptness
All the deceit
Which the inhabitants of this world continue to repeat?
What would God say
If He were close to all the crackheads, dealers, and thieves
Which are on the degenerate streets today?
What would He say to all the degenerate parents who refuse
To meet their children's needs?
What would God do
To a self destructive
Violent
World, that refuses to
Take responsibility and
Learn from its mistakes?
History merely repeats itself
Because each individual
Cares only about himself.

What would you do
If you saw
God walking toward you?
Would you kneel in shame?
Or would you run
Would you hide
Feeling the burden of the blame?
Would you blame someone else
Or feel protected
By your own power,
Fortune,
And fame?
What if God knocked on your door?
Would you invite Him in
Or defiantly
Hold your ground,
Slamming the door in His face?

If you ever spent the day with God,
What would you do?
Would you walk
Would you talk
Carrying on the same
Unmindful that you were being watched?
Or would you walk on eggshells
In constant fear
Of the fires of Hell,
Being ever so careful
Of what you would say?
And when He got ready to leave,
Would you invite Him to stay?
