Midnight Dreams
Though apart, you can always be together in dreams.

The stars leave streaks within your hair,
as the wind softly blows.
I can tell your love is true for me,
in your words it shows.

The shimmer of the shining dew
is caught upon your feet.
As in the middle of the night,
each other we do seek.

The moonlit path as white as stone;
you walk unto the beach.
Though your alone and wish for me,
do not fear for I'm in reach.

Remember me while in your dreams,
for I shall meet you there.
As you sleep on sandy shores
under midnights care.

Then we'll climb the mountains high,
to where the rivers spring.
Walking with your hand in mine
through waters glimmering.

As long as you do seek me near,
our love shall ever last.
True to you I'll always be
until this world does pass.
