She Doesn't Like Your Words She wakes up to your ranting and raving She doesn’t like the way you're behaving But after so many years of living with you She’s not surprised at what you say or do As she climbs out of bed you still rave Today she has to be strong and brave God grants her the strength to go on her way And not let a thing you say upset her day Years have taught when you yell and scream That you’re just nasty or letting off steam Yet it’s the sudden way that you’ve changed That makes her wonder if you’re deranged When she's not doing what you want her to do She hears you utter “God how I hate you” When she disagrees with something you said She hears you whisper, "I wish she was dead" But now, the words you mutter gives her a chill For she hears you say, “I have the urge to kill” If she were to pack her bags and go on her way She knows you’d cry, “I don’t mean what I say”
