GENDER WAR

“No, don’t be fooled by dove like eyes,
Nor by innocent looks on face.
The intentions behind those looks,
I bet you cannot ever trace.

Those tender lips, like two rose buds,
From which lovely whispers come out,
Conceal the vilest pricks and barbs,
Which can from them endlessly spout.

Those inviting gestures can be
The bait before pouncing upon
The man who is clueless about
What a woman’s mind is set on”.

“Men, you are rough and crude creatures,
Too much proud of brawn and muscle.
You think by use of force you can
Win all argument and tussle!

Born of woman, brought up by her,
Ungrateful you are to woman.
Despite this, out of her kindness,
She tries to love you as she can.”

Who is the sinner, or the sinned?
Who is wrong doer, or the wronged?
Why get into such argument?
Why not together love along?

Both are sons and daughters of God,
Let us to Him all surrender.
Why try to tell Him that he did
Commit a mistake or blunder?
