Megan and Angel's Halloween 2004

Megan and Angel had agreed to spend a month in an old beautiful mansion for a month. It was located in Martha's Vineyard. They were writers and novelists looking for some story ideas. The mansion was a great get away but it sure was eerie. Right next to the ocean and the woods. It wasn't so bad in the day time but the night time was another story. It was almost Halloween. The women had bought their pets with them.Goldie the Bob Cat and Megan's cat, Tigger got along but they played hide and seek in the old mansion. There were a lot of rooms to choose from. The women had been there a week and one night Angel and Megan got home from a book signing. Angel opened the door and Goldie and Tigger ran out the door. They ran towards the woods.

"Come back here, Goldie!" yelled Angel.
"
You, too, Tigger! What is wrong with you? Tigger, you know better then that!" Megan said it with fear in her voice.
Angel and Megan ran into the woods after them but lost them in no time.

"What do we do?" Megan was so shook up.

"We will get the flash lights." Angel said in a calm voice.

Megan nodded. The girls went back to the house to get the flash lights. Angel found them and they went back to the woods with the flash lights. It was so dark. They walked through the woods but had no idea where they were going. They heard the ocean and didn't know how close they were to it at night. Just then someone said: "Who? Who?"

Megan screamed. "It's Megan and Angel. We are looking for our pets, a cat and a Bobcat."
A brown and white speckled owl looked at Megan and Angel from a tree as he twisted his head all way around..

"Oh, Megan, it's just a cute ole owl."

"How was I to know?" Megan pouted.

Angel patted Megan's hand. "No one is picking on you."

Megan said:"I know but it's so scary out here.

The women walked a little further and a bat swarmed down at them. They screamed and ran. The bat stopped and appeared in human form. Megan turned pale. The human man smiled. "Good Evening. I am Barnabas Collins."
Megan and Angel were in shock. He looked like Jonathan Frid, the guy who played Barnabas.

"Is this a joke? Are you Jonathan Frid? What are you doing here?" Megan asked.

"I am Barnabas Collins. I know no Jonathan Frid. Don't be afraid, Ladies. I have already had my blood quota for the night."

"Go away!" yelled Angel.
Megan and Angel ran further into the woods. The human form turned into a bat again and flew off.
The women almost ran over the cliff into the ocean but hands pulled them back. They turned around and saw the face of Alice Cooper.

Angel exclaimed:"What is this? Are all the weirdos out tonight or what?"

"Angel, it's Alice Cooper. That was rude!"

"Hello, Megan." Alice bowed.

"Alice, what are you doing here?"

"Making a video of my newest hit song, I WILL GET YOU IN THE WOODS IN MY NIGHTMARE. Megan, I haven't seen you in awhile. I love the time when you layed down in front of my Limo and we almost ran over you. I had to give you my autograph and take a picture with you in order for you to leave. My Limo could have ran right over you."

"Alice, I am really sorry about that but I got to meet you. Hey! Have you seen a gray stripped cat and a Bobcat in the woods? Thanks for saving us just now."

"No, I haven't. I will help you Ladies look for your cats. If I hadn't come along, you two would have fallen into the ocean. So, Megan and Angel. I loved your last novels by the way. I have all your books."

"Really? Maybe you aren't so weird after all." Angel laughed.

"Please, I like being weird. I am the King of weird and Halloween." Alice winked. Megan hugged him. She loved Alice Cooper.
Alice walked with the girls in the woods but it was too dark to find the cats. The moon was big and bright but the trees blocked the moon's light. Just then a pirate appeared swinging in the trees. It loked like Captain Jack Sparrow! Megan sighed and got excited. "It's Johnny Depp!"

"Oh, Megan, it can't be." Angel said.
"Look, we saw Barnabas and we are here with Alice. Our cats ran away. Anything is possible." Megan said quietly.
The pirate tipped his hat." Ladies, I am Captain Jack Sparrow. Would you like to sail the seven seas with me?"

Megan sighed. "I would love to. Take me away!"

"Get real! We are already promised to our boyfriends Phillip and Dean! Get the stars out of your eyes!" Angel said to Megan.

"You're right, Angel. Sorry, Captain Jack Sparrow. No can do but I love you."
Captain Jack Sparrow kissed Megan. Megan was on cloud nine. "My Dear Lady, take care. It would have never worked out between us anyway." The pirate grabbed a tree limb and swung off. How sad for Megan.

Alice laughed. "I will write a song for you and your pirate."

"I would like that. You owe me an interview." Megan reminded him.

"I will give you your interview. You are one of my closest friends and the only journalist I trust."
Megan smiled. "Thanks. I appreciate that. You are my favorite Rock singer ever."
Tomorrow was Halloween. No wonder tonight was strange. It was almost midnight. All Hallows Eve.

The trio looked in the woods for another hour but couldn't find Goldie and Tigger. Angel, Megan and Alice headed back to the mansion the girls were staying at. Just then a witch on a broom flew in the sky. This was eerie! Alice was loving it. The witch landed. It was Pandora! The blue nosed witch that Megan and Angel befriended a long time ago. She had Goldie and Tigger on her broom stick! Megan and Angel hugged Pandora and introduced her to Alice. Pandora beamed. "I have all your records. It is so nice to meet you, Mr. Cooper." Alice kissed Pandora's hand. Megan and Angel hugged their pets. They went back to the mansion that Angel and Megan were staying at. They had Cider and donuts. Alice gave Megan the interview he had promised. Megan's next novel was about a young woman who fell in love with a pirate and it became a success. Angel wrote a novel about Megan and her and it, too became a hit. Alice wrote a song about Megan and Johnny Depp. It became a hit. Pandora came to visit Megan and Angel at their home in Maine. Life was strange for Megan and Angel but they always have a good time no matter what happens in their life.
