I could dream of how it would be
But that dream would never come true I could hope that one day you’d see That I’m the one for you If wishing on a star would help If a four leaf clover would do If only that rabbit’s foot worked Don’t you think I’d be with you? She can’t stop me from thinking Of how good it would be I dream of falling in your arms, sinking Why didn’t you choose me? I should’ve taken that chance Tried when you were free I believe in true romance Why couldn’t you be my baby? We’ll never know how our love could feel And I guess with you taken, we never will But for now… I’ll put on a phony smile Because all I can do is dream for the while
