This ship's sailing alone
You've shoved me away from the dock Bringing in newer yachts you find On me, you've closed the door and turned the lock So fine, just be that way Just push me off aside But you and I both know That I've still got my pride And sure, those boats are pretty But they tend to fall apart easy I'm the only sturdy one here standing I'll be the only one when the winds are high and breezy When those pretty boats you let dock in Leave you all alone and blue Don't cry to me and look for this ship to stay Cause I refuse to stay for you You showed me I'm unwanted Unless you're left sad and lonely And it won't be me to dry your tears Cause I'll never be your one and only So this ship's out to sea I refuse to stay around and wait Play your games with someone new I'll dock out before it's too late As I sail out to the ocean And I leave you far behind I won't look back, I refuse to cry And I'll never change my mind
