Passion Unfurled
Why hide you so tightly my sweet, sweet rose While beams of sunlight still dance from aloft To tenderly kiss a bloom in repose Red velvet petals, so teasingly coifed The sun entices and wind gently blows To beseech a glance from your delicate brow, But there you stand rigid, prim in your pose With virgin disdain to rise tall with great prow And though you disdain the growing warm shiver From pleasure that dances across your skin, The heat will release a furtive quiver Unfurling your sleeping love from within So spread your crimson arms for your lover And welcome him with a yearning soft kiss For passion unfolds and it uncovers Even unwanted...perpetual bliss
