I Got In Trouble
I got in trouble because I was bad I made my momma very mad She spanked my hiney and fussed at me 'Cause I didn't look when I crossed the street I had to go to my room and sit And I didn't like that, not one single bit! I wanted to go outside and play 'Cause it was such a pretty day But Momma said she still loved me And I said that I was really, really sorry So maybe Momma will let me come out Because I was quiet and didn't pout!
