ABCs of Motherhood

A is for affection which you've always shown to me
B is for your inner beauty that I always see
C is for your caring and charisma too
D is for your diligence in everything you do
E stands for many things that fit you to a “T”
Such as excellence, endearing, and extraordinary
F is the faithful way you've kept us all together
G is for you're grand and great, which is more so than just better
H just shows how helpful you have always been
And I is for intelligence you've shown time and time again
J is the joyful way that you give a hug
K is for the kindness that gives all hearts a tug
L is the loving way you love...not just your own
And M is the motherly way you’ve given the best of homes
N is for the nurturing that made us what we are
O is for outstanding, so you deserve a great big star!
P is for the patience as you endured the teenage years
And Q is for the quality of motherhood that has made you truly dear
R is for how you kept the realistic bad world far at bay
S is for the sharing you've exceeded every day
T is for the thoughtfulness that was always a surprise
U is for the understanding when you wiped our crying eyes
You are filled with V which is vibrance head to toe
And W is the wisdom to guide us where to go
Guess X must be ‘Exceptional', which you've proven 100-fold
Y is for your youthfulness because to us you won't grow old
So Z is for your zest and zeal in everything you do
And this end is just to let you know that I always will love you!!
