Sticky-slippery strands of
Lies Injustice Anger Cruelty ~ENTANGLED~ In the sanguine sauce of despair M O T T L E D With savage chunks of decaying flesh Once belonging to our beloved bovine buddy Bessie (Or was it Bluebell?) Silence descends Over this steaming hotbed of hatred Left ~Untouched~ A heavenly-white dusting falls ever-so-gently down Upon the Perfect quiet Now AMPLIFIED By this gift from the angels (?) above A lone, sepia-hued voice speaks Soon mingled with three others Father Mother Sister Brother Reciting two oft-uttered syllables In perfect, rehearsed, rhythmic unison Hands unclasp Shattering this Hallmark moment Would it have lasted anyway? No one will ever know Regularly scheduled contemporary chaos resumes Amid the rabble of meaningless words "MomcanIhavemoremilksusiedidyoucleanyourroomdadjimmy smakingfacesatmenoonelikesatattletale!" A ruthless, unfeeling steel-grey contraption Dive-bombs down Piercing through fragile hearts Lying ~Helpless~ On porcelain white Stained with crimson-brown apathy
