“Lovers of a Different Shade”
9/23/2004 Pull the blade over my flesh once more, Let me feel the grip of death. Strangle me with your hatred, Let me disavow my innocence. Scream your promises of my ruin, Let me wallow in my trepidation. Bind me with your discord, Let me strain willfully. Finish your sordid deed, Let me sigh contently at the finale. Break character and ask if I liked it, Let me be the authoritarian next time.
