LEAVES OF FRIENDSHIP


Leaves of friendship
Age with time
As years pass by
They don't lose their rhythm or rhyme


Leaves of friendship
Start out green and full of life
As years pass by
They crumple with anger and strife


Leaves of friendship
Wither on the vine
They age and get brighter
Just like wine


Leaves of friendship
Whose colors are vibrant and true
Consist of many splendid varieties
Which one are you?
