Who You Are
what I feel inside every passing day

You throw fits of rage
You scream, holler, and yell
Why do you push for me to rebel?
You try and pretend you're great
Why is it you I hate?
Why do I feel I'm trapped in a cage?
As though my life's displayed on stage.

Why do you pretend to be my friend?
Can't you comprehend what I'm trying to say?
You don't always have to make someone pay.

Must there always be so much strife?
Why do you have to ruin my life?
Can't you see who you've been?
Can't you see what's lying within?

Who you really are
Will always leave a scar
No matter how hard you try
You'll always live a lie
You will never ever be
The person who you always see.
