Seasons Haiku-athon
A poem about the changing of the seasons made up by a series of haikus

Spiraling downward
Like bits of white confetti
The snow falls to earth.

It covers the ground
Like a soft downy blanket
Nature sleeps 'til spring.

Springtime soon arrives
The sun has melted the snow
Nature awakens.

Flowers blooming bright
Dandelions dotting the
Green blanket of grass.

Brilliant yellow ones
Also soft fluffy white ones
Waiting to be picked.

A white one is picked
A little girl makes her wish
Seeds blown all over.
