Cat Story
A poem about a cat made up from a series of haikus.

Asleep at my feet
My small furry companion
Purrs contentedly.

Soon she awakens
Stretching and then meowing
To say, "Good morning!"

Then rather coyly
She rubs my face with her head
Hoping to get fed.

She tickles my face
With sweet little kitty kisses
To butter me up.

It works like a charm
I can no longer resist
She knows who's the boss.
