RELUCTANT GROOM ** #892736 Not An Image ** The batchelder party lasted long and the groom-to-be was smashed; He arrived late for the wedding, his thoughts of marriage clashed! He wasn't sure he wanted this, for a husband can be tied down; He was really quite a happy guy, loved cruising 'round the town. The bride-to-be was a feisty lass, with a determined look in her eye - She would drag him down the aisle, though he kept on muttering "why?" The wedding pictures were a laugh, she held him up, for goodness sake; and someone placed this bride and groom right up on the lovely wedding cake! Now memories are made of this, I'm sure you'll all agree - If he ever lives this one down - it'll be a real miracle to me! Countrymom 9/29/04 Written for the Send Sherri Snickering Contest
