"FLIGHT"
I Traveled to the outer limits of space alone

FLIGHT

I am beckoned to go to the emptiness of space.
To the great frontier I soar at an alarming pace.
Like Columbus and Magellan I want to explore.
The outer limits where no man has gone before.

In the silence of darkness my fears did vanish.
Soul's on a high that this exploration has invited.
In this vast domain I am astounded by the stars.
My craft soars toward the far reaches of Mars.

God has allowed me to explore this unknown.
He tells me to turn around and fly back home.
I heed the Almighty, for this is all His domain.
I awake to find I'm in bed, and I made it home..
