Do you know how beautiful you are?
Although you lack confidence In your own ability, Have such fragility, You express well and make sense, As a writer I believe you could go far. Do you know how wonderful you are? For you may lack belief, In your achieving, Yourself deceiving, You are a strength in grief, As a friend your help heals any scar. Do you know how special you really are? You think you lack knowledge, Stand near the back Avoid the main track, Teeter sometimes on sanity’s edge. You're uniqueness shines from afar. Do you know how beautiful you are? For I am honestly telling you You don’t lack choice To use your own voice, To record, to yourself be true. Now bravely hang your dreams upon a star.
