Midnight On Halloween
Contest piece for halloween.

Midnight and its Halloween.
Waking up in the forbidden cemetery.
Full moon lighting the headstones.
Howling, growling pierce the silent night.

Footfalls echo all around.
Sounds are impossible to locate.
Peering around a thick tree.
Yellow eyes surrounding everywhere.

Monsters approach so slowly.
Werewolves circle as they salivate.
Very soon the feast begins.
There was never a ghost of a chance.
