All about dragons.

I got a book about dragons. I learned some cool info and I would like to write about what I found out. Dragons probably weren't real but Hey! WERE WE THERE? Let's have some fun. I will write what I have learned about these beautiful creatures.

Dragons are noble in form and majestic in flight. They breathe fire as a result of generating methane gas in their stomachs, a gas that also enables them to "float" like balloons. Their fangs and venom-producing organs are responsible for creating the dragon's fiery breath.

The sea serpent has been called the dragon of the sea. There are differences between serpents and dragons. Dragons breathe fire and serpents don't. Dragons fly and serpents don't. Dragons love treasures and they hoard it. Dragons also stay inland where serpents stay in the sea and are attracted to ships and don't care about treasures. Interesting.

Did you know that dragons hatch from eggs? There are different types of dragons as well. The Knucker dragon like to live in woodland locations and are

serpentine in appearance. They are unable to fly. They are leather brown, dull, red, {greenish blue in appearance. They have a venous bite. They eat rabbits, deer, farm animals and stray children.

The Frost dragon lives in a sea-facing cave hollowed out from a glacier or ice berg. They are 40 feet long, 12 to 15 feet high. They are pure white and may be varigated with blue or pink. They are fearsome, have claws and horns. These creatures eat giant squid, polar bears, orca, walrus and leopard seals. The Asian Lung Dragon live in underwater caves or grottos. They are 40 feet long and 12 to 15 feet high. They are black, blue, white, red or yellow. They have horns and use their claws in attacks. They love to eat birds and fish. They are believed to have power over rainfall and storms. Like the hurricanes recently?

The hoarding behavior of dragons evolved because they have a soft "Archilles spot" on their bellies. They lie on treasures and the jewels stick to their bellies. The male dragon woos a female by creating a decorated nest with treasures selected to please. Just like human men? It is far better to befriend dragons then to tame them. You don't want to wind up as their main course at a Barb-B-Que.

I hope you have enjoyed these "facts" about dragons. I got my info from : Dr. Ernest Drake's Dragonology, The Complete Book Of Dragons. Happy Dragon Hunting!
