Three Faces
Quizmo LaGrande An interesting fact came to mind A figure at once in my prime. A pretty, coy wench, Several suitors, some French, Courted me for love sure they'd find. Then one day I spied a reflection, In a mirror of true introspection, I feared, twas the fact Middle-aged, with face slacked The reflection, my dear, lacked deception. Acceptance, reluctant through years, That did, yes, produce salty tears, This now saggy frau, With huge drooping brow, Has a snout that would only court sneers! ![]() * * *
