"Lost Dreams"
I dreamed away the days of my youth without facing reality.

Lost Dreams

My mind goes back to another time.
In my youth when all things were fine.
Dreams of the future were coming true.
Not a day found me depressed or blue.

Life looked so easy in my young eyes.
The future was mine to have as a prize.
The world promised a life with no limits.
Use the best and discard the remnants.

My imagination was great and ran wild.
Thoughts of a young boy a little child.
I was impatient for tomorrow to come.
Ignoring the days and what was done.

I lived only for my wants and dreams.
I regret not living for all the real things.
Time has given the chance to change.
I have used it in my life to rearranged.

If time permits I'll redo things I can.
Start living in reality like other men.
Live for today, not think of the future.
Dream in sleep and not in the day.
