![]() The Star And the Manger Tidings of peace and love, Blessings on all the Earth, Angels from high above, Sing of His wondrous birth. Star with amazing light Leads the Wise Men abroad, Shepherds are called that night, Worship the Saviour Lord. There, in the chilly air, On that first Christmas Day, Child and His mother, fair, Manger is where He lay. Amidst the hay and straw, In humble farmer's shed, Mary, her Infant bore, Where ox and ass are fed. Poor shepherds greet their King, Wise Men bring myrrh and gold, So, let the Heavens ring, Glory of love untold.
