I'LL NEVER KNOW
...but what if I could?

I'll never know the taste of her sweet lips,
A yearning that will always be denied.
I'll never hear her laugh at all my quips.
Some feelings must always remain inside.

She'll never feel the beating of my heart,
Yet her desire still seems to grow each day.
She'll never see the end of passion's start.
Some feelings must stay always locked away.

We'll never dine within the candle's light,
Although our flame will burn forever long.
We'll never dance beneath the sheets all night.
Some feelings simply are so very wrong.

You see, it seems, I have myself a wife,
And she, a husband of her own for life.
